To achieve India's long-term objectives of national common mobility, practical interoperability and most importantly open digital payment systems, the transport payments industry must work together towards a shared vision. The objective of the working group meeting is to collect and harmonise viewpoints to achieve consensus on that vision through industry collaboration, agreement and alignment on implementing successful transport revenue management and transport payments models in India.

Proponents of the following models for transport payments will be invited to make brief presentations and then lead working group discussions with stakeholders that are transport authorities, financial institutions and industry experts.

Conference delegates that are representatives of stakeholders from across India will act as a sounding board for further discussion of the business issues explained in the workshop as well as viewpoints presented by industry.

The working group meeting will be relevant for operators of all transport modes either launching new transport payments schemes or planning to migrate existing schemes in the future.

Transport Payments South Asia 2018 provides excellent opportunities for leading technology and solution providers to communicate information about their company, their brand, and their products and services to end-users responsible for implementing and managing transport revenue collection schemes in India.
